This is what it’s like to fly on a £15,000 first class ticket

For most of us, first class air travel will never be a realistic option.

When boarding a long haul flight, we all dream of being able to turn left into the plush seating and cabins rather than turning right into plain old economy.

Casey was recently travelling from Dubai to New York on Emirates when the airline upgraded him to first class. So he did what any vlogger worth their salt would do: he took his camera out and filmed the whole thing.

He discovered the price of a first class seat on that flight was over $21,000 (£15,000). So what do you get for that eye-watering expense?

Well, his own private pod has its own electronic closing doors, and comes with just about everything you might (and might not need) on a flight, including snacks, private mini-bar, moisturisers and even a writing kit.

Then there’s the food.

The first class passengers get a full menu that they can order from at any point during the flight.

After dinner, a flight attendant comes down and makes up your roll-out bed – and don’t even try to do it yourself.

There’s also a huge bathroom in which you can take a shower so that you step off the plane completely refreshed.

Needless to say, Casey’s overall impression of the experience was glowing. How could it not be?!
