You’ll be spending a lot more time using Snapchat’s face-swap function after the latest update

This is awesome.

Procrastinators rejoice.

Just in case there was any danger of the face-swap function going stale after its wildly popular introduction, Snapchat have ensured that people will use it more than ever with their most recent update.

Originally, Snapchat users were able to use the face-swap function on two people/animals/objects that could fit within your camera screen, such as this terrifying example:

Now, thanks to the latest update, Snapchat users can automatically swap their faces with any visage it detects on your phone’s camera roll; no doubt leading to hours and hours of harmless fun.

On an iPhone, all you have to do is simply hold down on your face to open the selfie lens options and swipe over until you get to the face-swap from the camera roll lens.

When you tap it, Snapchat will scan your camera roll for faces and surface options for you to swap with. It’s available for Android devices too so everybody wins.

Our own Eoghan Doherty gave it a whirl this morning and instantly made himself 75% more handsome in the process…

Apologies to anyone who was planning on having a productive weekend.
