Video: Watch the Parkour masters of the 1930s

If you thought Parkour was a very recent craze, then this video might come as a bit of a surprise.

These black-and-white clips from the 1930s show the sport’s pioneers scaling trees and buildings, and generally entertaining delighted onlookers with their stunts.

The video ends with a man rolling down a hill in a huge tyre before crashing into the sea, proving that Parkour enthusiasts back then were just as mad as their modern day equivalents…
