Former French pilot Yves Rossy has dedicated much of his life to developing jetpacks and is credited as being the inventor of the individual jetpack.
At 55, he is renowned as an expert in the field, which is backed up by the brilliant scenes in this video.
Both Yves and his compatriot Vince Reffet are seen flying around the skyline of Dubai – the highlight coming when they circle the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.
It’s thought that the packs can reach speeds of up to 120kmh…and they probably did.
