Toys R Us’s dirt cheap 6p liquidation sale begins today

I don’t know about you, but for me visiting Toys R Us was as close as I got to a religious experience as a kid.

So obviously it’s liquidation was sad news for all of us – RIP, god rest its soul, gone but never forgotten, etc – on the plus side though, the company is having a massive closing down sale.

As of today, March 22, the biggest ever kids’ toy store sale starts with discounts of up to 25 percent available. In fact, it’s previously been reported that toys could cost as low as 6p *screaming face emoji*.

Simon Thomas, joint administrator and partner at Moorfields Advisory Limited, told MEN: “We’ve introduced heavy discounts across the entire Toys R Us store portfolio today.

“Customers are encouraged to take advantage of these special offers as soon as possible, whilst stock levels are generally high.

“Customers may find that the more popular brands begin to sell-out over the coming days.”

And one of the company’s bankrupcy advisors, Joseph Malfitano, called the sale ‘probably the largest retail liquidation in the country’s history’.
