This is the most popular time of the week to have sex, apparently

Saturday night fever...

Sex is different for every couple, but according to new research, there’s a prime time for getting up close and personal.

New findings report that just before half ten on a Saturday night is the most popular time for sex.

For many couples, the action happens after a romantic dinner or couch time in front of the TV (at 10:24pm to be precise).

Surely it can’t be coincidence that the average time to make love is 5.4 minutes and that the most popular time to have sex is six minutes before Match of the Day comes on, can it? It’s like men across the country are thinking exactly the same thing.

The survey, reported in The Sun, also found that 42 per cent of couples said Saturday was their favourite day to have sex.

Sunday came second, so to speak, with 26 per cent, and Friday third, with 22 percent.

After that, there was little difference in the remaining days with Wednesday 4th, Thursday 5th, Tuesday 6th, and Monday lagging well behind in last place.

The research, conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, also found that 45 per cent of couples schedule sexy time because of busy day-to-day lives, and six out of ten book a hotel getaway specifically dedicated to bedroom shenanigans.
