This invention could make holidays even easier for you in the future

Put this on our wishlist...

Conor Heneghan

How has nobody thought of this before?

The worst thing about holidays? No, it’s not the sunburn, a hotel that looked a lot better online than it does in reality or the kerfuffle at the airport on the way there and the way back.

It’s the packing.

Many holidaymakers would pay good money to somebody to pack for them before they leave, to pack again just before they’re ready to head home and to unpack again when they get there.

The nicest thing to say about it is it’s a pain in the arse.

Which is why our eyes positively lit up when we came across ShelfPack, a revolutionary suitcase with integrated shelves that might be about to change the way we travel for good.

The concept is a fairly simple one, it has retractable shelves that also act as an auxilary wardrobe once you open it up, practically saving the need to unpack once you do arrive at your holiday destination.

Shipments for this wonderful invention apparently began back in April and you can find out more about it here.

Worth it? Ask us again when we’re trying to gather up all our sandy underwear at the last minute at the end of a week in Spain and we’ll probably say yes.
