This hilarious family photo had everyone asking the same question

This got a lot of people laughing

We love when a family go to great lengths to make their annual family photo stands out, but one thing’s for sure: everyone needs to be on board to make it work.

That’s why this brilliant shot has Reddit in stitches today.

Posted by Reddit user TitillatingTofu under the heading ‘Annual family photo’, the snap shows a mum and dad in full royal regalia, flanked by their kids dressed as a princess and a jester.

The next year, the family swap costumes for a new take on the shot.

The third photo shows them swap again.

Except for one member of the family of course. The dad in the photograph wears the king’s crown in every image.

Reddit was quick to ask questions, with one poster even suggesting that the dad may be Photoshopped into the later images (a theory that was quickly debunked by the positioning of his hand in each shot).

Our favourite explanation came from Adamdidit:

“Dad’s not even dressed up. He was wearing that when he came in.”
