After a rather whimsical mix-up, pub bosses have pleaded with the Lord for forgiveness after they asked this group of priests to leave their venue after accidentally mistaking these men of God for a stag party that were wearing fancy dress.
To the immense credit of Matt Morgan, assistant manager at The City Arms in Cardiff, he apologised and gave these priests a free round of drinks. See, he didn't even have to say a decade of the rosary in penance. Speaking with the BBC, he said that the priests were "all great sports and saw the funny side of the situation. The staff thought they were a stag. We do have quite a few issues on the weekends with parties wearing fancy dress so it is our policy to turn them away." If only they were trapped in a lingerie store! Now where did we see that before? To quote Father Dougal McGuire "god I love being a priest. We're all going to heaven lads, wahey!"
