Amazon is selling a set of three houseplants that not only look good but actually help to purify the air in your home.
According to NASA certain house plants can actually help you with the housework by pulling dust and toxins out of the room and help to purify the air in your home.
In 1989 NASA did a study of over 100 plants to test how they take toxins out of the air and ended up with a list of the most effective air purifying plants. They found a list of plants that can actually help to purify the air in your home.
Not only do they improve air quality but they can also pull toxins and dust out of the air in the home. They can even help with reducing mould from rooms and they can be placed near windows to help reduce damp and condensation.
The list includes Peace Lilies, which comes with a beautiful blooming flower above the foliage of the plant.
According to the RHS: “Peace Lilies are popular houseplants with distinctive white flower-like spathes that stand above the glossy tropical foliage. Easy to grow and happy in indirect light, they make elegant additions to any home.”
Amazon is selling a set of three or six house plants including the Peace Lily and all three are included on NASA’s list of plants that help to purify the home and shoppers have praised the deals.
One shopper said: "The plants ordered did arrive safely and were larger than we thought they would be so pleasantly surprised."
Another added: "You need hundreds of plants to purify your air, so don't expect that but I bought these because 2 of them apparently help with damp. Having tested them on my damp window sill I found they do, just don’t water them so they take moisture from the air.
"Also the the spider plant will breed itself regularly by sending out shooters you can simply re-pot (& severe the shooter), so you'll end up with as many of those as you can handle."
The set of three is currently priced at £21.99, with a discount of 27%, while the set of six is priced at £38.99, with a discount of 17%.
