A Texas man has been slammed online after revealing that he has no job, no savings, and relies on his parents to pay his rent.
The reason why is that he doesn't want to accept work he deems to be 'beneath' him.
Brint Davy recently appeared on an episode of Caleb Hammer's Financial Audit on YouTube.
Davy said that he's in thousands of dollars worth of debt due to taking out a series of payday loans but still likes to treat himself to subscriptions to the likes of Netflix and OnlyFans.
Davy found himself in hot water on the show after the hosts slammed his "immature" choices and the fact that he had scoffed at the idea of working to pay off his debts.
When asked what he does for a living, Davy said: "Too many things. I don't even know really. I'm just hustling every day basically because I have been blacklisted from most jobs. "I have a criminal background. I told Governor Abbott on Twitter that I would eat his heart and that solicited a big reaction."
Davy said he was then arrested by six agents and spent four days in jail on a terror charge.
He said: "It sounds way worse than it was because I'm not a cannibal for one - I don't eat hearts - and the state really wanted to prosecute me.
"They were thinking about making it a felony for a while and they just dragged it all out for a year and it took a long time."
Davy said that he had previously worked as a journalist and despite the "heart" incident happening back in 2018 he is being rejected from jobs that he is "wholly qualified for" and doesn't want to take a step down in his career.
When asked how he feels about his parents covering his rent, which they have been doing since 2016, Davy said that he feels a "little" embarrassed, but that "they're capable of it".
Davy, who used to be earning $500,000 a year, believes that something good will come to him, but flatly refuses to take a job in the meantime as he sees it as a "dead-end".
