Man sets what must be a record after failing his driving test within five seconds

There's always next time.

Worst. Driver. Ever.

Anyone who’s ever done one knows the pressure that comes with doing the driving test; some either handle it well (or get lucky) and pass it first time, others take multiple attempts before getting their hands on a precious licence.

Scotsman Craig Bazarra had barely put his foot in the door of the car during his test this week when he knew he’d have to do it again, after pulling out onto the wrong side of the road when leaving the test centre in King’s Lynn in Norfolk, England.

According to Deadline News, Craig had only just pulled out of the test centre, when his instructor turned to him and said: “You do realise you’re on the wrong side of the road?”

If that wasn’t embarrassing enough, Craig had to continue the rest of the test – which lasted 40 minutes – and with only two minor faults recorded, he would have passed with ease had it not been for his monumental f**k up at the start.

“I was only just leaving the centre to get out. We were literally just five seconds into it,” Craig said.

“I was approaching the junction to exit it and I had an absolute mind blank, questioning in my head: ‘What side of the road do we drive on’?

“I had a 50/50 chance, and I chose to exit it in the right lane. Instant fail. Had I not been so stupid I’d have breezed through.”

“My examiner with 20 years’ experience, and my instructor with 30 years, both have never witnessed anything like it in their careers, they said,” Craig added.

“I hadn’t even left the test centre car park.”

Don’t worry Craig, it happens to the best of us…

Actually, no. No it doesn’t.
