Londoners say a short commute is better than sex

Londoners would rather have a short commute in the morning than a long night of passion in the bedroom according to a new survey.

The 10,000 people polled by Time Out also rated a trip to the gym as more important for their wellbeing than having sex.

Those with with a short commute saw their average wellbeing score shoot up by 8.3% compared to those with a longer commute.

That means it has a bigger effect on people’s wellbeing than having sex, calling their family or earning more than an average wage.

As well as this, Londoners who said they felt ‘almost always’ happy averaged a shorter commute than those who were ‘almost never’ happy, with a person’s wellbeing reduced by 1% for every ten minutes spent commuting.
