A man has explained why he's decided to stay with his wife who he is "fairly sure" has cheated on him.
Whilst many would see cheating as the worst thing a partner could do in a relationship, and something they'd be unable to forgive, not everyone feels that way.
And one man has sparked debate after revealing he has decided to stay with his wife despite the fact he believes she has cheated on him.
In a submission to the anonymous confessions page, Fesshole, the man explained the reason why he had not left his partner, even though he is "fairly sure" she has been unfaithful to him.
He wrote: "I am fairly sure why my wife cheated on me last year but I chose not to pursue it to a conclusion, people will reply saying I am weak but I just want to keep my family together, I do not want to leave my kids and have to wash my pants in the sink in a bed sit."
Whilst many sympathised with the man's situation, some warned him that he was perhaps simply "delaying the inevitable."
One person wrote: "Rough but likely to do it again. You’re unfortunately likely delaying the inevitable."
A second said: "Fairly sure your kids won’t thank you for it. If it doesn’t bother you then crack on but if it does then you’re making the wrong decision."
Another person commented: "The best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour. Start getting your ducks in a row now for when it happens again."
And someone else advised him: "Good chance she’ll do it again , get your affairs in order and take control. Even seek legal advice. Short term pain , long term gain."
