We know it’s something of a cliche to use the term ‘Only in America’, but sometimes you do think that certain things could only happen in the free and glorious US of A.
Take this incident in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A couple of friends spotted a Jeep in the traffic ahead of them, it set off at the lights like it was in a hurry – tyres screeching and everything – except it was facing the wrong way.
Remarkably, the reversing people carrier accelerated ahead of them, and reached speeds of around 50mph, drifting in and out of its lane.
Thankfully it’s not a sight you see everyday – and the daring driver was lucky that he/she didn’t cause a serious accident with their high-speed backwards antics…
