There are many of us that love our iPhones dearly, but when it comes to their battery life, we're very often found wanting more.
However, according to Tech Insider, it now appears there's a straightforward way of 'supercharging' your iPhone.
Starting with the iPhone 6, it's claimed that you can take your battery life from 0% to 100% in almost half the time by following the three simple steps below.
Here's how:
First up, put your iPhone on airplane mode. This prevents battery sapping activities such as push notifications and trying to connect to wifi and bluetooth devices.
Next, use an iPad (not iPhone) wall charger. It provides more electricity per second to your iPhone then any other means - up to 2.1 amps. The iPhone 6 has apparently been shown to support charging up to 2.1 amps.
Finally, an obvious point, but once on charge, don't touch your iPhone. Turning on the display will use up more battery power and slow down the charge.
According to a video guide, which can be found here, following these three steps can save you up to an hour.
As they point out, results will vary depending on the age of your battery, how well you've maintained your battery, and whether you charge it properly.
