Some 61% of the 2,239 British men over the age of 18 who were surveyed agreed damage caused during the course of a stag-do was the most common cause of extra costs, while 53% had experience of forking out extra to attend to injuries suffered by members of the stag party.
More than two thirds of those polled admitted 'incidents' had occurred, contributing to an average additional expenditure of £2,345.
Three quarters of the incidents occurred in foreign countries - not doing much to dispel those 'Brits abroad' stereotypes.
