England fans celebrating on top of a London bus goes as well as you think

Make sure you watch until the end

England beat Sweden 2-0 on Saturday afternoon to progress to a World Cup semi-final for the first time in 28 years.

Goals from Harry Maguire and Dele Alli secured them a place in the last four, with a tie against either Russia or Croatia.

Having a big game like this on a Saturday afternoon – especially one as sunny and hot as it is today – of course that people are partying across the whole country.

Plenty of footage of jubilant England fans has spread on social media. But this might just be the best clip of all.

The clip was recorded in Clapham, south London, where fans had spread into the streets stopping traffic. Somehow, two fans had gotten on top of a bus stop and a double decker bus, and were leading the fans below in a clap (it’s actually the Icelandic clap, but we’ll ignore that).

Then the guy on the bus tries to jump down, and things don’t go to plan. Make sure you watch until the very end.

Here it is from another angle.

Thankfully he gets up and walk away, seemingly uninjured.
