There’s a particular age when it’s time to stop going to nightclubs

No more Disco Stu for you.

Not buying it.

It’s hard to admit that you’re getting old. You want to act as young as you feel but sadly, sometimes you just have to call it a day and leave your disco diva days behind you.

According to a recent survey, if you are born in the year 1980 or before, it’s time for you to give up your disco dancing.

While 37 is the age to stop heading to nightclubs, they also added that if you’re over 30, you would much rather spend a night in front of the television than out on the tiles with your friends.

Well over 50% of the people who responded to the survey said that they would rather be in front of the fire at home instead of having an expensive night out.

Surprisingly, nearly 20% of people said they would rather stay at home and stalk people on Facebook rather than a night on the tiles while nearly double that said they preferred scrolling through social media than socialising on a night out.

There are many other factors that stop people from heading out such as the effort of getting dressed up (20%), the hassle of getting a babysitter (12%) and the difficulty of booking a taxi (21%).

After hearing this news, we expect every person that’s over the age of 30 to head straight to their nearest nightclub and go wild.
