She’s racked up thousands of followers on social media
A female carpenter has decided to wear bikinis and no safety gear whilst working to “p*ss off old misogynistic male carpenters” .
Aptly known as “the bikini carpenter”, she decided to take to TikTok to show off her knowledge of woodwork and destigmatize an industry that is very male-dominated.
She has managed to garner more than 35,000 followers on the video-sharing platform.
But several viewers seemed to be more distracted by her attire than any of the carpentry she was performing.
And some accused her of pretending to work in order to get views, despite the fact she owns her own small business selling wooden crafts, the Star reports.
One critic wrote: “Funny I see no actual carpentry work but the bikini is on point.”
“Now I’m trying to figure out if she is actually a carpenter or or her boyfriend lets her do videos with his stuff,” a person added.
But the haters and critics aren’t going to stop her bikini carpentry any time soon it seems, as she captioned a recent video: “Sawing brass in a bikini to p*ss off the old male carpenters on here.”
In the video, she is seen holding a small piece of brass without wearing any cut resistant gloves.

In another clip, the carpenter adds: “These oldhead misogynistic carpenters on here aren’t gonna like this one.”

The carpenter also shared videos on Instagram and YouTube, where she goes by the ‘Wood Bunny.’
In one of her previous videos, she shared an in-depth woodwork tutorial on YouTube, showing how she managed to build a shed from scratch.
