California’s urine-repellent walls are no p*ss-take

JOE

It seems that hefty fines aren’t enough to stop San Franciscans peeing in the street, so the city has taken evasive action.

Nine walls across San Fran have been coated with urine-resistant paint, which effectively provides a high-tech form of splash-back.

According to the Telegraph, the action is part of a proposed trial that could be rolled out across the US city, and it means urine for a shock if you try peeing up against one of the walls in question.

We wonder whether it will lead to a stream of complaints from residents whose shoes are soaked following the measures.

While the paint will be in place around the clock, one imagines it would be most successful during the wee small hours.
