Apple have solved one of the biggest problems affecting iPhones and other Apple devices
Have you been hit by the dreaded 'Error 53'?
The Error 53 glitch had been affecting Apple phones whose Touch ID sensors had been replaced (as the result of fixing a cracked screen), causing the phone to malfunction and shut down in order to keep a suspected robber from using it.
Unfortunately, the error completely 'bricked' the phone, rendering it not only unusable but pretty much irreparable to anyone in any Apple Store.
Today, Apple released a fix for the error. iPhone and iPad users can download a patched, updated version of iOS 9 that will prevent any more error 53 scenarios from happened.
Apple also apologised for the security measure, which is now the subject of a class action lawsuit in America where it is being argued that a company has no right to brick a phone after it has been bought and paid for.
