Got a birthday coming up? You might ask for these.

With over 35 million pairs sold worldwide since 1950, the Samba runners are the second best selling adidas shoe of all time – for those that are curious, the Stan Smith is the leading the way.

This being said, even the classics have to move with the times and the iconic runners will be getting a Primeknit upgrade as adidas Originals transform the Samba.

What’s cool is that the sportswear giant is incorporating a sock-like collar on the ankle.

Purists will be happy to see that the traditional black and white colour remains and they’re available online at a cost of £89.95

For all you show lovers, here’s’ what your money will buy you.

  • adidas Primeknit upper wraps the foot in adaptive support and ultralight comfort
  • Synthetic leather collar
  • Synthetic leather sockliner
  • Engineered 3-Stripes
  • Contrast heel tab and collar lining

Take a look.

If you’ve got a birthday coming up, maybe you can ask someone nicely for a little present?

You got to give it to adidas, they consistently deliver really nice gear.
