Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has bluntly responded to a fan who suggested him of being biased towards his former club Chelsea.

The North Londoners take on their West London rivals in the final of the Europa League on Wednesday night in Baku.

On Twitter, an Arsenal fan posted what appeared to be quote from an interview with Cech where he said that Chelsea would be the favourites – followed by @-ing Cech to express his disappointment.

“The favourite for me is Chelsea because they have historically played more European finals. In addition, this season they finished in the league ahead of us. [They are] the team that will better deal with pressure.”

It turns out that Cech saw the message, and quickly explained to the fan that something was lost in translation.

“If you don’t know how to translate an article from Czech language just don’t tweet about it”

Well, that put that guy in his place.

The Czech goalkeeper made 333 appearances for Chelsea between 2004 and 2015, winning four Premier Leagues, four FA Cup and the Champions League.

In 2015, Cech made the move across London to the Emirates.
