Ian Wright over-celebrates Aaron Ramsey goal, drops camera in process

He’ll need a lie down after that

Ian Wright got very excited during Saturday’s North London derby.

The game started incredibly lively, with chances at both end. But it was Arsenal who drew first blood, when Aaron Ramsey burst forward and went around Hugo Lloris to slot the ball home.

Scoring against Spurs is obviously always a big deal for the Arsenal faithful – and Gunners legend Ian Wright had exactly the reaction you’d expect.

Wright was in the Match of the Day, and uploaded a video of himself going crazy at the Welshman’s goal.

Only he went a bit too far, and celebrated so much he dropped his camera phone.

Aaron Ramsey is set to join Juventus in the summer, and the move will make the Welshman the highest paid British footballer of all time

Ramsey will earn an eye-watering ‘basic’ salary of £400k per week before tax in Turin.

He has signed a four-year deal with Juve, having passed a medical in January, and will join the club at the end of this season on a free transfer after 11 years at Arsenal.

Ramsey failed to agree terms on a new deal with the Gunners before his contract ran into its last six months, which allowed the midfielder to speak to clubs who expressed interest in signing the 28-year-old.

There was interest from various European giants, including Bayern Munich and PSG, but Ramsey’s final decision was to join Juventus, where he will play alongside Miralem Pjanić and Blaise Matuidi in a midfield trio – quite the upgrade from Mateo Guendouzi and Granit Xhaka.
