Cesc Fabregas gets into social media spat with former Spurs player

"I do know you won’t win anything again this season"

Cesc Fabregas has gotten into a Twitter spat with former Tottenham player Graham Roberts.

It started when the Monaco midfielder tweeted out the question: "As a fan, would you rather get to the Champions League final and be a runner up or win the Europa League? Just curious."

To which, Graham Roberts snarkily replied "Not getting much game time now then Cesc?" referring to Fabregas having only made 10 appearances for Monaco so far in 2019.

To which, Fabregas defiantly hit back with: "I don’t know who you are and I don’t know if I’m getting enough game time or not but I do know you won’t win anything again this season."

Damn.

His response has gone down well on Twitter - with Arsenal fans in particular.

Cesc Fabregas signed for Monaco from Chelsea at the beginning of 2019.

Defender Graham Roberts made 209 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur between 1980 and 1986.

He also played for several other clubs, including West Brom, Chelsea and Rangers.

He went on to turn his hand to management, taking charge at the likes of Enfield, Yeovil Town and Chesham United, as well as the Pakistani and Nepalese national sides.

He won both the FA Cup and UEFA Cup while at Tottenham.
