YouTube comedians find out what it’s like to train with Arnold Schwarzenegger

Hitting the gym with Arnie is a pipe dream for most people, but two YouTube comedians got to experience that recently

Chad and JT from the Chad Goes Deep podcast were put through their paces by both Arnold Schwarzenegger and top strongman Martin Licis at the iconic Gold's Gym in Venice Beach, California. Gold's is known as the 'Mecca of bodybuilding', and over the years it's been home to an illustrious list including the Austrian. Long before he hit the heights of Hollywood and the US political stage, Arnold won seven Mr. Olympia bodybuilding titles. To this day, he can still be found pumping iron at Gold's at the age of 71. [caption id="attachment_233207" align="alignnone" width="1280"] Arnold Schwarzenegger won seven Mr. Olympia titles before retiring in 1980 at the age of 33[/caption] The comedians landed themselves in hot water when they reminded Arnold to "make sure you get that full range of motion" in. It's a fair point, but not one that the most iconic bodybuilder in history needs to hear from anyone else. The two were put firmly back in their box when Schwarzenegger said: "For every set of exercising, you're allowed to do one set of talking". Arnold's had some career. His transition from bodybuilding icon, to film star, to politician is not to be sniffed at. It's probably this which prompted comedian JT to ask him "who's your favourite co-star ever?" – but he should have waited until Arnold's set on the chest press was finished.
