Woman sent home from work over ‘distracting’ outfit – again – and people are baffled why

Tobi Akingbade

Here she goes again …

A woman has been sent home from work because of her ‘distracting’ and ‘revealing’ outfit.

And it’s not the first time!

TikTok user @NotMarieDee has made headlines recently after she asked her followers whether she should quit her job for how she was treated.

Last week the blonde bombshell was sent home because HR claimed her outfit was ‘distracting’ – she was wearing a v-neck lilac top and black work trousers.

However, the internet sided with her, claiming the outfit was definitely work appropriate and made her look “great and professional”.

But the internet does not have the final say as the worker was sent home again but the plot twist is that  this time she was even more covered up.

In the clip, she is wearing a tight high neck bodycon dress which comes down passed her knees.

In the new video, the text reads: “Guys it happened again, I’m getting sent home for my outfit.

“This time the HR girl approached me. I’m about to ask her”.

The person believed to be a HR worker can then be heard saying: “I’m sorry you still can’t wear that, it’s way too revealing and distracting”

NotMarieDee can then be heard asking: “It’s distracting?”

To which the other woman responds: “Very”

The clip has been watched more than 23.5 million times with over 2.5 million likes and 71.2K comments.

Online users sided with NotMarieDee yet again.

One person said: “Yes, it is distracting. For about 3 seconds while I mentally say, wow, she looks amazing today. And somehow I still manage to get my job done.’

The almost had us thee!

Another said: “I’m an HR leader and I think your outfit is professional and polished!”

“She’s mad that her work crush, is checking you out?” a third wondered.

However, some people felt the video was scripted.

One person commented: “I sense a scripted TikTok moment. You look great. Can’t imagine an HR department that would use the words ‘way too distractive and revealing’.”
