Great news: Superbad has returned to Netflix

Paul Moore

Chicka chicka yeah!

We’re McLovin the latest additions to Netflix as, aside from The Goonies, Making A Murderer: Part Two and Daredevil Season 3, we’ve now got the adventures of an iconic character that’s clearly named after an Irish R&B singer… or a sexy hamburger.

Oh yes!

Seth, Evan and McLovin’s epic journey to lose their virginity and get some booze has returned to Netflix and in the immortal words of Jonah Hill’s character, we’re delighted to see this ‘big, veiny, triumphant bastard’ make its very welcome return.

Since being released in 2007 – yep, we feel old too – Superbad refuses to age and a large part of this has to do with the writing.

Truth be told, there are so many lines from Greg Mottola’s comedy that have become pop-culture stalwarts and it’s very likely that you – or someone you know – can’t spend a day without saying the likes of “fuckin’ calm down Greg, it’s soccer,” or “the funny thing about my back is that it’s located on my cock”.

All this without mentioning the immortal “I gotta catch a glimpse of these warlocks” and the legend that is Steven Glansberg.

Right now, he’s probably still somewhere eating lunch on his own.

Superbad Netflix

In case you haven’t seen it yet, Superbad revolves around two co-dependent high school seniors (Jonah Hill and Michael Cera) who are forced to deal with separation anxiety after their plan to stage a booze-soaked party goes awry.

When you add McLovin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and officers Slater (Bill Hader) and Michaels (Seth Rogen) into the mix, you’ve got a recipe for disaster.

Hell, we love Superbad so much that we’ve created the hardest quiz possible and if you learn anything from the comedy, just remember you should never wear a vest on its own because you’ll probably just end up looking like Aladdin.

Superbad is now available to stream on Netflix.

Yep that’s the coolest fucking story I’ve ever heard in my entire life! That’s insane. Can I hear it again, do you have time?
