Welcome to the day after Judgment Day
The first trailer for the sixth Terminator movie, Terminator: Dark Fate is here. And it gives us our first look at the returning Linda Hamilton, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Arnie only appears in the trailer for one shot. Which is not a great sign, but still.
Dark Fates will reportedly be set after the events of Judgment Day (aka the best film in the franchise), and ignore the last three sequels.
As well as the returning Hamilton and Schwarzenegger, James Cameron has also returned to the series as producer. Directing duties are taken by Deadpool‘s Tim Miller.
The official synopsis reads:
Linda Hamilton (“Sarah Connor”) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (“T-800”) return in their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison. Following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta.
