What’s the latest? Well she says she’s thinking about dating him after the pair struck up an unlikely bond over DMs.
So cast your mind back. This story feels like it’s been around for centuries but believe it or not it’s only been one week.
Yes, its only been one week since Veronica Correia went viral after she disembarked from her brassiere and absolutely hurled her 36G bra over hoards of people before it finally landed with a bang at the feet of Canada’s favourite rapper.
“Damn, 36G?” Drake remarked, picking the bra up, holding it aloof before the crowd. And then he roared: “Locate this woman immediately!”
A video of Drake examining the garment mid-song has been watched over 30 million times on TikTok.
After Veronica came forward, identifying herself, Playboy recruiters got in touch, no doubt keen to capitalise on her new-found fame.
They told Veronica she is “gorgeous” and that they love her look. Then they invited her to join their invitation-only app that allows creators to monetise their content.
She applied, and Playboy accepted.
In a TikTok promoting her new venture, Veronica expressed her gratitude and her desire to help other woman with body positivity.
She wrote: “Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined seeing my photos on Playboy Centrefold! My goal for my journey on this platform is not only to continue what I love but to also instil that same confidence in other [women!] Especially mothers focusing on how beautiful we are despite our sizes and marks!”
But after receiving some hateful comments from trolls, Champagne Papi came to the rescue with a little sage advice and a confidence boost.
“Just continue on with your amazing life,” the Grammy-winning musician told the new Playboy model and viral star in a DM.
“People are faceless. They would never say it to you in person,” he continued, concerning the trolling.
And you know what, fair play to Drake. It’s a solid point.
The final part to this story comes following some more comments from Veronica who has said she’s debating dating Drake.
Appearing on The Club Ambition podcast, Veronica was asked: “In a fantasy world, if Drake were to ask you on a date or wants to actually be with Miss 36G, would you actually take him up on that opportunity? Would you see yourself actually being with Drake? Or is it just fandom?”
She replied saying: “I mean, this is already overwhelming – my 90,000 followers – so I really don’t know if I could keep up with that life.”
Veronica added that it would be a ‘dream come true’ to date Drake however she believes there would be some problems. She did say that she has ‘been thinking’ about dating him and that it would be ‘awesome’ if they did.
