Why *of course* you want to look at Mike from Love Island’s Football Manager stats

Why the hell *wouldn't* you?

Simon Lloyd

It doesn’t really matter if you’re an avid viewer of ITV 2’s Love Island or not, it’s been been pretty much impossible to escape talk of it over the last couple of weeks.

Whether it’s that guy out of Blazin’ Squad making an appearance, or another contestant mistakenly believing Jason Statham’s surname was spelt ‘Staythumb’, the show has dominated Twitter’s evening trending tables of late.

Another piece of Love Island ‘news’ that was doing the rounds on social media this week concerned another of its contestants, Mike Thalassitis.

Thalassi Mike, who was added to the show last week, is a semi-professional footballer for Margate. In such a rush to head out to the Love Island villa in Mallorca, he forgot to notify the team’s manager of his plans.

With Mike set to miss preseason training, word of his footballing career has reached the masses. Naturally, it was only a matter of time before someone somewhere unearthed his Football Manager ratings.

Behold.

Taken during his stint as a Stevenage player, we learn that Mike’s best attribute is (or was) jumping – for which he’s given a 12 for. We’re also informed that as a striker, he’s graded a 10 out of 20 for his finishing. As well as this, we also… oh, just read it for yourself.
