Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Viewers complain about ‘worst ever’ £64K question

Who wants to be a millionaire worst question ever

Who Wants To Be a Millionaire is known for its tricky questions in the latter stages but this one was something else…

Viewers were left stunned at how difficult a question on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire was on Saturday, with some describing it as the show’s “hardest ever” question.

During the final episode of the current season, contestant Glen Bunn, returned having reached the £32,000 milestone the previous week.

But his question to double his money to £64,000 was a real doozy.

He was asked by host Jeremy Clarkson: “From the 2000 awards ceremony onwards, the Best Actress Oscar has never been won by a woman whose surname begins with which one of these letters?”

The four multiple-choice options were a) G; b) K; c) M; and d) W. Confusing right?

I’ll give you some time to have a think yourself…

Well, since 2000 Nicole Kidman, Frances McDormand, and Kate Winslet have all picked up an Oscar for Best Actress, making the right answer A. Which is of course G.

And Glen got it right.

People weren’t happy on social media.

One person wrote: “Worst question I have ever heard on a TV quiz show. So glad he guessed the correct answer.”

Another wrote: “What a stupid first question.”

Someone else described the question as “awful” and “obscure”.

Glen ended up walking away from the show with £125,000.

Well played Glen, well played.
