'Bridge of Spies', which is already being tipped for the Oscar race, sees Tom Hanks as Brooklyn lawyer James B Donovan, who is thrust into the world of global politics without warning. Donovan is asked to defend a United States pilot who is imprisoned in the Soviet Union after his spy plane is shot down amid the Cold War.
