This time last year, the makers of Rick & Morty used April Fools' Day to play the first episode of Season 3 on a loop, and in the process let everyone know that the full season was on the way very soon.
This year, with all the background noise around whether or not a 4th season would ever arrive, Adult Swim used the opportunity to air a new mini-episode of Rick & Morty... kind of.
While the characters are there, and they have some similarities to the original show, this time it is called Bushworld Adventures, and takes place in Australia.
Kicking off with what looks like a bizarre scene of Morty's family looking absolutely terrified on Rick, we move on to murder threats, actual murders, a giant football fan, and ... geez, we're not even sure we fully understand what we just watched.
You'll either love this, or absolutely hate it. And we totally understand both opinions.
