Competition has the ability to bring out the best and worst traits in people and whether it’s in the sporting arena or in other walks of life, some folks just can’t hide their emotions when it doesn’t go their way.
A case in point was Robot Wars on BBC 2 on Sunday night, following a contest in which there was no clear winner and the judges had to decide the winner between a team made up of adult men and a team primarily made of young children.
When presenter Angela Scanlon announced that the judges had unanimously voted in favour of the more youthful outfit, it was too much for one member of the defeated opposition to take and he marched out in a huff without even offering any congratulations to the victors.

It wouldn’t take a lip-reading expert to figure out what our p*ssed-off friend said on his way off either; looks like this defeat is going to take quite a while to get over alright.
