Vince McMahon is returning to WWE Raw tonight

The boss is back

WWE’s flagship show Monday Night Raw has been in somewhat of a crisis in recent weeks – the ratings have been in a downward spiral, and fans have been quick to criticize the show’s confusing booking decisions.

It is especially noticeable since the so-called ‘B-show’ SmackDown has been killing it recently, with Becky Lynch being the most exciting person in wrestling, and Daniel Bryan engaged in a great feud with AJ Styles.

But there’s nothing like a big return to pop wrestling fans. And WWE has decided to pull out all the stops and do the biggest return they can (no, it’s not CM Punk, stop chanting that).

WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon has been announced to return to the show on tonight’s episode, with the promise to “shake things up”.

Baron Corbin was removed as General Manager on Sunday night after losing to Braun Strowman at the TLC pay-per-view – so it’s highly likely Vince will be announcing a new GM.

The official for the show reads:

One week after Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins placed the blame for Monday Night Raw’s recent decline squarely on the shoulders of “General Manager-Elect” Baron Corbin, WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon will return to the red brand to shake things up tonight.

The landmark appearance of The Chairman comes one night after WWE TLC. How will The Chairman shake up Monday Night Raw, and who will benefit — or suffer — as a result?

Mr McMahon last appeared on Raw back in January, for the 25th-anniversary edition of the show – where he recieved yet another Stunner from Stone Cold Steve Austin.
