Whilst Star Wars: The Force Awakens breaks all sorts of box office records and earns rave reviews around the globe, many fans look back on the three prequels of the franchise as a missed opportunity.
Ridiculous amounts of CGI, convoluted storylines about trade disputes, and ridiculous characters such as Jar Jar Binks left many eager fans cold upon watching the disappointing episodes I, II and III.

But this clever edit by Shahan Reviews, using footage of Sir Alec Guinness in A New Hope, interspersed with ‘flashbacks’ featuring Ewan McGregor, makes the prequels look awesome.
There’s a real sense of poignancy and regret about Obi-Wan’s recollections. If only the actual films were this good.
