Ugly Naked Guy from Friends has finally been revealed

So THAT'S what he looks like.  We're all familiar with Ugly Naked Guy from Friends. The naked neighbour across the way from Monica's apartment. While we got a glimpse of his physique we never got to see his face. Interestingly, he was mentioned a good bit in the show but we only ever got to see him twice. Once when the group made a giant poking device to make sure he was still alive and another time when Ross befriended him to get his apartment. But now he has been tracked down thanks to the excellent detective work from those at The Huffington Post, who havespent the last year searching for the actor who played the role. Over the course of twelve months, writer Todd Van Luling, along with others reached out to casting directors, searched through forums and fan sites and worked past red herrings and other actors linked with the role. Just when they thought it wasn't possible to find out, they found him. His name is Jon Haugen and he is the official Ugly Naked Guy.

Talking to the website, Haugen said, "There’s only one Ugly Naked Guy, man, and that was me. Explaining his onscreen return to the show in season 5 where he got naked with Ross, Jon said,  "I wasn’t really expecting them to call me back for me to do it again." In a lovely revelation, the actor said he didn't mind being called ugly in the show, saying, "It was the best time in my life." Haugen also revealed how far he went in his nude scenes.  Apparently he wasn’t really naked in the scene where he’s hanging out with a nude David Schwimmer. "We were just in boxer shorts and they made it look like we were naked." So there you have it, one more 90s sitcom mystery solved. Now we just have to figure out where Ross' son Ben disappeared to once Emma was born...
