We've had Straight Outta Compton and soon we could have a Tupac biopic.

There have been numerous project plans before for a film on the life of Tupac Shakur, whose birth name was Lesane Parish Crooks, but each have fallen to the wayside. Producer Randell Emmett has had plans for the film for a while, but these were halted earlier this year due to legalities and a fall-out with director John Singleton, who exited the project just a week after announcing he was on board. Let's face it, it's not the most promising of starts. But onward Emmett forges; this week he posted a message on Instagram saying he will start shooting the 'Tupac' movie regardless in December.
Tupac's mother Afeni Shakur is listed as an executive producer, and casting is already believed to have started. Please don't let it be a rushed, hatchet job...
