Two Irish twins have earned €1 million each from their online video game clips. The brothers, Ryan and Scott Fitzsimons, 25, from County Meath have over 2.87million subscribers to their YouTube channel where they post videos of themselves playing minecraft video games and doing voiceovers. A report in today's Sunday Times says the brothers' company, Little Lizards Ltd, shows profits of €351,842 in 2015 after paying out more than €2 million in salaries.
The revenue is created by advertising on the YouTube platform. If you're wondering just how on earth this is possible, watch one of the twins' most popular videos below. Incredibly, it has over 13 million views on YouTube. Yeah, us neither. The twins first set up their YouTube account in June 2012.
