After a few years in the bitter shade, London is back on the beer map and enjoying a renaissance as one of the best brewing capitals.

The city is opening its pint-laden arms and welcoming lagers from around the world for London Beer Carnival in October.

With 50 from 16 countries, there’s the bitter, the punchy, the pale, the dark, the creamy and the slinky, the ones that taste of donuts or nachos.

There are also the ones where you just want to Instagram the sh1t out of their labels; like the one that features Adolf Hitler strolling through a German town with his dog. Only the brave will drink the one which has priests receiving fellatio on the front.

Hop along to the pub, because if there’s ever been an excuse to sink a few pints this weekend, this is it.
