Promising to be a "re-imagining of this amazing story", The Rock has been typically hard at work putting together a cast and crew to do justice to the much loved children's classic.

took to Instagram to announce Doctor Who and Guardians of the Galaxy actress Karen Gillan to the film's cast.
Now, the hardest working man in Hollywood has given us all a glimpse at the character he'll be playing in the new film.

Thanks to a nifty bit of concept art, it looks like The Rock will be going full Indiana Jones adventurer in the new film, which is something we throughly endorse. (If you've ever watched 2012 film
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, you'll know Dwayne Johnson has some jungle adventure chops.)
"We start production next month in Hawaii and as many of you already know, this isn't a remake or reboot, but a continuation of the awesome JUMANJI story we love", wrote The Rock in an earlier Instagram post.
If this concept art is anything to go by, we could be onto a winner come Jumanji's release sometime in 2017.
