The other day someone asked me, "How do you come up with the intros for the Pub Quiz?"

"Interesting question," I replied. "But who are you? And why are you in my bathroom? And will you please put a towel on?" Once the naked stranger had dried themselves off and showed me some ID, I told them: I just start typing and see what comes out. Tap, tap, tap. Blah, blah, blah. Words, words, words. Almost every week for the best part of two years I've written some form of introduction for this quiz, and honestly, I just switch my brain off. I don't even know what I'm writing right now. Catfish. Bonanza. Jimmywhacking. Lunchables. Anything can happen! Anyway, here's the quiz. Maybe. Possibly. My brain's on standby, so who knows what's going on. I may have just copied in a picture of John Barnes and left it at that. Either way, you'll enjoy it.
