It’s been 22 years.
The Grand Tour fans have been left in tears after saying goodbye to Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammon, and James May as they signed off on the show.
In the final episode, a two-hour special, the trio travelled to Zimbabwe where they drove a Lancia Montecarlo, a Ford Capri 3-litre, and a Triumph Stag.
Taking to the web after the final show aired, many viewers explained that they were sobbing.
One wrote: “Honestly props to the editing team. I went from spontaneous crying, to cackling multiple times. Ended with a good sob.”
Another wrote on Reddit: “The last ten minutes of the show were really really hard.”
While a third commented: “I sobbed the last ten minutes as well. There were multiple parts that I could feel the tears coming but I just forced them back down. Those last ten minutes it was like a tap was turned on.”
They continued: “As soon as it ended I went and started watching some old stuff with them. They have always been comfort for me. Depression, anxiety, you name it, they’ve been there to get me through. We are in this together! They will be missed!”
Thanks for the memories.
