The ghost of Khal Drogo was a big fan of *that* Daenerys scene in Game of Thrones

He still has her back

Matt Tate

If you still haven’t caught up on this week’s Game of Thrones then here’s your obligatory SPOILERS ARE COMING warning.

Those who have seen ‘The Book Of The Stranger’, the fourth and most eventful episode of season six so far, will know that Daenerys escaped the Temple of the Dosh Khaleen in pretty spectacular fashion. After realising that she was about to be doomed to a lifetime as a slave to the Khals – no life for someone with pet dragons – Khaleesi decided to quite literally set the house on fire.

Khal Moro and all his Khal mates were consigned to an agonising and fiery death, and Daenerys strolled out unburnt (and naked) to see the Dothraki – as well as Ser Jorah and Daario – bow before her.

It was a pretty sensational scene, and one that went down particularly well with Jason Momoa, who played Dany’s former lover Khal Drogo.

Momoa’s Instagram post was captioned: “Hahahahahahahahahaha. I love GOT. Don’t fuck with my boo. Hahahahahah @emilia_clarke love u Moon of my life ALOHA DROGO.

Earlier in the season there was another tense scene featuring Daenerys and Khal Moro. The Mother of Dragons warned him that she remained loyal to her sadly deceased hubby, and wouldn’t bear children for anyone else. This also got an emphatic Khal Drogo thumbs-up.

True love (or at least the weird GoT version of it) conquers all.
