The Antichrist arrives in the new American Horror Story: Apocalypse trailer

It's the end of the world as you very much don't want to know it in the brand new trailer for American Horror Story: Apocalypse. The long-running grim anthology series returns next week with a fresh batch of familiar faces, most of whom will almost certainly meet a violent demise at some point across the new season. As the title indicates, things have gone very fatal indeed in the world as a band of survivors flee to a mysterious outpost that appears to be more dangerous prison than safe haven. It's your classic 'we might be better off outside' scenario as a murderer's row of torturers, preachers and satanists rule the roost over a terrifying mansion that holds deadly secrets. Plenty of the AHS crew are back on board for season eight with the likes of Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Jessica Lange, Dylan McDermott, Taissa Farmiga and Connie Britton all set to appear.
