If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re in for one hell of a ride.
Netflix UK have announced that all episodes of one of the most groundbreaking television series’ of all time is now available to stream in full on their platform.
There’s no doubt we are absolutely spoiled with the constant stream of top shelf TV series’ available on a weekly basis nowadays.
The television revolution of the past decade have created a world whereby as soon as we finish binge-watching a new series, there’s another one to get stuck into the following night.
Whether it’s Peaky Blinders, The Crown, Breaking Bad or Succession, there’s no shortage of riveting TV drama to immerse yourself in.
But, back in the early 2000’s, that wasn’t really the case.
Shows like Prison Break, 24, The Sopranos and The Wire changed the landscape of television by grabbing hold of audiences for six whole seasons at a time when most people still rented DVD’s from their local Blockbuster store.
Perhaps the most influential of all, was the ABC plane crash drama Lost, which followed a group of stranded survivors trying to keep themselves alive and sane on a mysterious island in the middle of the ocean.

The first episode premiered on US television in 2005, and concluded in 2010 with a finale that was watched by over 3 million people in the UK – a figure that at the time was unprecedented in television.
Now, almost twenty years on from the airing of the first episode, Netflix UK & Ireland have added the entire six seasons and 121 episodes to their library.

Lost was created by Jeffrey Lieber, J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof, and stars Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lily and Dominic Monaghan.
Users on X shared their delight at the news of its addition to Netflix, and for many it offered a much-desired trip down memory lane.
“My Dad started watching this this morning,” one user wrote. “I’m hoping he sticks it out til the end. My favourite show of all time, I’m excited to hear his thoughts and theories…”
Another declared: “One of the best television shows in history in my opinion.”
One other wrote: “Lost has finally been added to Netflix. One of my favourite TV shows back then.”
