GMB fans shocked over Richard Madeley’s ‘inappropriate’ Kate Middleton comment

"She’s so slim isn’t she"

Richard Madeley upset Good Morning Britain viewers on Monday morning when he commented on Kate Middleton having a "tiny, tiny waist" and being "so slim." The Duchess of Cambridge and her husband Prince William were at the Earthshot Prize awards on Sunday to present five winners with £1 million in recognition of their environmental projects around the world. After a news segment about the awards was shown on GMB, looking at the work of the winners and how William said he and his father had been "ridiculed" when they first started campaigning against climate change, Madeley and his co-host Susanna Reid decided to comment on Kate's appearance as oppose to the awards and the amazing work of the winners.

Back in the studio, Richard said: "She’s so slim isn’t she, Kate."

Susanna replied: "She is, isn’t she?"

She then laughed as Richard noted: "Tiny, tiny waist."

Many viewers took to Twitter to voice their displeasure at the comments.
