On Sunday night, as he became only the seventh winner of the quiz show that first aired back in 1998, a retired IT consultant on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire took home £1million.
The contestant, Roman Dubowski, answered 15 questions correctly in the opening episode of the new series.
He was successful in various topics including mythology, theatre and Harry Potter and some questions on his favourite subjects of history and geography.
“I was aiming for £32,000 or £64,000 - that would have been a fantastic result”, Dubowski, who recently retired after a 34-year career as an IT analyst, said.
“Winning £1million never really crossed my mind. It's life-changing, but I don't want it to be personality-changing. It removes financial stress completely, that's what makes the biggest difference”, he said.
There's only ever been seven contestants to win the big prize, and here are the questions that won them the jackpot.
